Number 8

Sometimes, an artist will create a series of paintings and give them the same name with a number afterward indicating that they are part of the same series (and they have no imagination). For example one might create paintings of the same model and call their series “Alice No 1” then “Alice No 2” and so on. In other cases, when the creator is truly inventive, he may choose to name a painting a number just because it sounds unique even though the painting is not part of a series and there is nothing in there that looks like an 8!
